This global crowd-investing platform manages regulatory compliance for accrediting investors in 183 countries, targeting individuals with net worth between $3M and $30M. The goal was to grow active accredited investors to over 5,000 within 24 months — a significant scaling challenge given a sales-driven conversion process that could take up to 30 days for the first transaction, a long but profitable payback curve, and limited in-house analytics and paid media capabilities.

The team needed to simultaneously optimize acquisition, conversion, and engagement — across geographies, with no historical benchmarks to build against. Expanding from a U.S.-focused strategy to international markets added complexity that made a uniform approach impossible.

A quality-first acquisition system

We deployed the Exactius Data Platform for full-funnel tracking and data integration across all channels, with Violet cookie, client-side, and server-side tracking with GA4 for enhanced event reporting. A Salesforce integration linked lead generation tools to back-end operations for seamless tracking. Real-time dashboards and a conversion signal framework captured both early and late conversion signals throughout the investor onboarding flow — giving the team leading indicators of quality before the 30-day conversion cycle closed.

On the acquisition side, we ran relentless geo-targeted campaign testing — grouping geographies to optimize CPM and CPA, and identifying which international markets could be scaled using the U.S. model as a blueprint. Landing pages were optimized via wizard implementation to improve conversion rates and define quality indicators earlier in the funnel.
